While the goal is relaxation, it is easy to spend the entire time scrolling on a phone or catching up on chores. Incorporating simple, gentle yoga poses into a staycation routine can transform a quiet week at home into a rejuvenating retreat. Grounding and Centering in Child’s PoseBegin any staycation yoga session with Balasana, or Child’s Pose. This foundational posture is excellent for calming the mind and stretching the lower back, hips, and thighs. To practice, kneel on the floor, bring the big toes together, and sit back on the heels.
